It’s going to be fun to watch the facilities improvements in action this summer! Projects will total more than $3.2 million and all are grant funded! They include:

New roofing for the main building
Asbestos abatement and new flooring throughout the building
Regulation sized basketball court on our playground
Replacement of our largest piece of playground equipment.
Major electrical upgrades
2 generators that will come on immediately when the power goes out
High quality, energy efficient lighting was installed over spring break

We will be administering a state-required assessment in May. Year after year, our students have the highest scores in the greater area. We are very proud of their academic progress and I know their families are, too.

We will close out our school year with:

Outdoor education at Camp Parsons for all students
Field day on June 6
8th grade promotion on June 11 at 6:00 p.m.
Last day of school, June 14

I am thankful to be able to spend my days at the Brinnon School with our amazing students and school family. In classrooms, I enjoy seeing students being kind, helpful and supportive in their interactions with students and staff. Classrooms are busy and productive. We are proud of our school.
